Introduction

This site is being offered to support members of The Dental Network who were affected by an accidental data exposure in the Company's public website. This resulted in some member data being left unprotected from outside exposure.

TDN understands the value of your personal information and the potential risk that such an exposure presents.

TDN takes this accidental data exposure very seriously. We deeply regret any concern this has caused our members, and we apologize for the inconvenience this may present.

This website is maintained by ID Experts on behalf of its client, The Dental Network, for the purpose of providing you with valuable services and information to mitigate any risks in the event that you experience identity theft as a result of this error.

It is important to remember that an accidental exposure of your personal information does not necessarily mean that you have experienced or will experience a fraud or identity theft. Although there have been no reports of identity theft or misuse of the information as a result of this accidental data exposure, it is to your advantage to review this information and take action if necessary.

There are three main steps that you should take immediately to help keep your personal information from being misused. These are:

1) Enroll in ID Experts - our credit monitoring and restoration services. This is available, at no charge, to any TDN member affected by this incident. In order to enroll in this service, you must have the access code that was included in your notification letter.

ID Experts' protection services provide a 1 year membership, paid for entirely by The Dental Network. The membership includes 12 months of credit monitoring that will quickly alert you to changes in your credit report. The membership also includes personal recovery services and an insurance reimbursement component should you experience a fraud or identity theft as a result of this incident.

2) Activate your credit monitoring- Credit monitoring is included with your membership in ID Experts, but you need to activate it in order for it to be effective.

3) Place fraud alerts - You can do this with one of the three major credit bureaus via the web or by phone. Fraud alerts will help prevent someone from opening new credit accounts in your name. Instructions for placing fraud alerts can be found on the Credit Reporting Bureaus page of this website.

Experience suggests that the process is simplest when you take these protective steps in the 1-2-3 order set out above.

For more information and to begin the enrollment process, please visit the Frequently Asked Questions page or the Enrollment page of this website.
